Climate in San-en
愛知県の東三河と静岡県の遠州にまたがる三遠地域へは、東海道新幹線の豊橋駅・浜松駅が主な玄関口です。東京・名古屋方面から鉄道でアクセスでき、駅からは在来線や路線バスで各地へ向かえます。車では東名・新東名高速道路を利用し、目的地に近いインターチェンジへ。海辺や山あいをめぐるなら、レンタカーも便利です。
The San-en region spans East Mikawa in Aichi Prefecture and Enshu in Shizuoka Prefecture. Toyohashi and Hamamatsu are the main gateways on the Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo and Nagoya. From either station, local trains and buses connect you to destinations across the region. If you’re driving, take the Tomei or Shin-Tomei Expressway and use the exit closest to your destination. A rental car makes it easier to explore the coast and mountain areas.

愛知県の東三河と静岡県の遠州にまたがる三遠地域は、太平洋に面した沿岸部と、内陸の山間部で気候が異なります。沿岸部は比較的温暖で、春と秋は過ごしやすく、夏は蒸し暑くなります。冬は「遠州のからっ風」と呼ばれる強い季節風が吹く日もあります。山間部は冬の冷え込みが厳しく、標高の高い場所では雪が降ることもあります。
The San-en region, spanning East Mikawa in Aichi Prefecture and Enshu in Shizuoka Prefecture, has a varied climate. Along the Pacific coast, spring and autumn are generally mild, while summers are hot and humid. In winter, strong seasonal winds known as the Enshu karakkaze can make coastal areas feel colder. Inland mountain areas have colder winters, with occasional snowfall at higher elevations.
